When I was clearing my parents' home following the death of my mother, I found a large cardboard box that seemed to have no connection with my family. Amongst innumerable ephemara concerning the supernatural (books, magazines and so on) was some obscure brand of cassette tape with the single word “Hannah” written on them. The cassettes had music on them but they were not pre-recorded. They contained long recordings of a single classical guitar and piano recorded rather badly in mono. So I decided to view the discovery of the tapes as serendipitous and have used them as the basis for the Aux Luna project. I hope they have retained some of their charm and certainly their odd provenance is part of their mystique for me.
